Recreation
Empty nester. That's the label people use to describe my home life. I struggle with this concept. I remember empty nesters. They were close to retirement, in their 50's, married and financially well off. I'm none of those things.
I just made a career change. My mother lives with me and she is in school full-time getting her PhD. I'm periennially single. And, in debt from getting the kids through school.
I have always planned to recreate myself and my life when the kids were gone. But quite honestly, I thought my circumstances would be different. Nothing is on schedule or even close to my long term plan.
So, now what?
I need a new plan.
